  • The administrator of your personal data is The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, located at 9 Rixsiliy Street, Tashkent, Uzbekistan 100190; e-mail: info@proacademy.uz.
  • The individual responsible for data protection at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan can be reached at info@proacademy.uz.
  • Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:
    • Executing the editorial process of publishing and reviewing articles for which you serve as an author, co-author, or reviewer;
    • Making the data available to other entities involved in the publishing process (e.g., indexers, databases, or other academic websites) to promote scholarly articles domestically and internationally;
    • In compliance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (processing based on your consent).
  • The recipients of your personal data include:
    • Readers of Anti-corruption Studies and Research;
    • Users of the journal’s website and any affiliated platforms;
    • Individuals and organizations involved in the publishing process;
    • Indexing services, databases, and other academic portals that may promote the published research nationally or internationally.
  • Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the Anti-corruption Studies and ResearchEditorial Team’s active operation and for three years thereafter.
  • You have the right to:
    • Access your personal data;
    • Rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data;
    • Object to data processing;
    • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal;
    • Request the transfer of your data to another entity or platform.
  • If you believe your data have been processed in violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
  • Providing your personal data is a prerequisite for publishing any manuscript that you author, co-author, or review. Refusal to provide the requested data will result in our inability to publish your work or accept your review for Anti-corruption Studies and Research.
  • Your data may be processed through automated systems, including profiling, to streamline the editorial and review processes.
  • By signing or otherwise confirming your agreement with these clauses, you acknowledge having read, understood, and accepted the GDPR policies governing the protection of your personal data in connection with Anti-corruption Studies and Research.
